Sweet sour

I've obviously blogged many an outfit post before on my previous blog, yet here I am getting so nervous to write this one. I guess it's just because it's my very first one of What Gee Did and needless to say I want to make a good impression on any new readers, and also to show old readers that I can do this on my own!
I am definitely one of those people who goes through phases and obsessions with their clothes and will wear my favourite pieces until I'm sick of the sight of them, and this outfit demonstrates that perfectly as my current 'phase' is baggy shirts over leggings. I know it's a bit 'done' and not the most original look at the moment, but I've come to accumulate a lot of oversized shirts so it really is a no-brainer. I often walk into college and realise I look more like an art student than a fashion student because it's like I'm wearing an old painting shirt! Most items here are recent purchases, including the necklace which was a bit of a spur of the moment indulgence to say the least (something I've come to be very good at) but I know for a fact I will wear it to death - yet another prime example of my woeful habits.

Shirt - The Vintage Basement, Leather-look leggings - Topshop, Creepers - Office, Socks - Topshop.

Jacket - The Vintage Basement.

Necklace - Urban Outfitters, Small rings - H&M, Turquoise ring - Local boutique.

And before you say it, yes I know these aren't 'real' creepers, but whose got £90+ to spend on one pair of shoes when you could get two pairs at £45 each... Logical, really.

Hello world

Okay so as some of you may or may not know, this is my second venture at blogging. Until just yesterday I was co-blogger of stylehiccup.blogspot.co.uk with my friend Kat, however after a good run of six or seven months we have decided to part ways (only in terms of blogging - don't worry, we're still best of friends) as we feel we have done all that we can with our joint blog, and are ready to dive in to blogging single-handedly. So basically my sights are set on the fact that one day it will be my name that is under the sub heading 'Editor in Chief' in Vogue, or Elle - well you've got to aim high! - and to make this happen I want to start posting not just fun outfit posts, but also write a little more about topical goings on in fashion, and generally just anything that interests me or catches my eye. I know it's all looking a little basic design-wise at the moment, but as soon as my college work dies down I'll be working my socks off to get it looking ace!

As you can probably tell already I'm a bit of a sucker for waffling on, but I hope it does all make some kind of weird sense. Anyway, I've got a list as long as my arm of future post ideas, so I'll be back as soon as, armed with more random ramblings and babble than ever!
